WHAT ARE VISITATION HOURS AND HOW DOES VISITATION WORK?

Designated and approved visitors are welcome during scheduled visitation times. The times and schedule will be shared by the person’s therapist.

Visiting hours are important because it helps us to keep structure. Those visitors who are on approved list will know which days and times they are able to visit. We typically do not allow more than two visitors at a time and also do not recommend bringing children.

What is case management and discharge planning and what do they include?

Case management and discharge planning is a time to work with a therapist or discharge planner to determine what your needs will be as you transition from the residential program back into your community and home. This will include scheduling outpatient services as needed, and seeking support services that are easily accessible to you.

What is recreational therapy?

This group utilizes mediums of art, music, play and sports to assist children in identifying and expressing issues. These activities are designed to create an outlet for relaxation and socialization while increasing awareness of appropriate leisure time activities.

How do you serve different populations in one place?

Our team understands the diverse groups of people we serve come with special therapeutic considerations. The structure of our hospital’s programs ensures all the patients receive age-appropriate treatment related to individual therapy, group therapy, recreational therapy and medication management. Our programming is delivered separately between our seniors, adults and adolescent age groups.
